The son of the late Senator and Attorney-General and nephew of the fabled US President has pursued for many years a mission in the service of the victims of the US public health system. His Children’s Health Defense Fund has exposed a vast number of medical malpractices and errors and secured redress and compensations for the young victims. Contrary to what his detractors often claim, he is not an opponent of vaccines but a whistleblower, like a Don Quixote who takes on the mighty windmills of ‘Big Pharma’ and Government agencies usually allied with or unduly influenced by the former. For one 45% of the FDA’s budget is funded by vaccine manufacturers. The US Department of Health and Human Services has had to set aside billions of Dollars to pay compensations for vaccine-related adverse effects, demonstrating that the problem is far from insignificant.

The COVID pandemic led the author to investigate the way in which this health crisis was being managed by the State and relevant institutions acting on its behalf. The National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is a key agency as its decisive role in the anti-covid strategy demonstrates. Its head for five decades, Anthony Fauci has become a global celebrity of the COVID era but is also increasingly controversial. His inconsistent and contradictory statements and forecasts have led many investigators to look closer into his background and, as a result his role in outsourcing and funding research into respiratory bat viruses, part of which was conducted at the now notorious Wuhan Lab, has been exposed.

In The Real Anthony Fauci Robert Kennedy lays out a rigorous and profusely documented case (there are more than two thousand references in the volume) against this son of a Sicilian pharmacist from Brooklyn who, through sheer ambition and political skill rose to occupy a position of great power in the American health system and to boot, immense influence on global health management. In this national Best-Seller Kennedy lists and details proven facts but shuns theories and speculations about motives and yet, because of his many public statements on the issue of COVID and vaccines he has been banned by some major social media for allegedly making unspecified ‘false statements’ that are only rebuttals of official diagnoses and verdicts for which he quotes government records. For example, nine months after its beginning the campaign of vaccination against COVID in the USA had already caused more than 17 000 deaths ‘officially’ resulting from the shots.

Fauci’s longevity in his job draws Kennedy to compare him to Edgar Hoover, the shady FBI Director who remained at the helm till his death, because like Hoover Fauci owes his life tenure and his half a million Dollars annual salary to the hold he has over researchers and bureaucrats to whom he dispenses promotions and funds without any apparent concern about conflicts of interests.

Fauci, as Kennedy evinces, has had a critical role not only in fomenting the hazardous ‘gain of function’ projects that may have led to the accidental release of the COVID-19 virus into the environment but also in shaping the manner in which this epidemic was heralded and tackled at the level of the World Health Organization and of the other international agencies and national governments though, as pointed out by Kennedy, he has never treated a COVID patient.

The book explains the resulting situation by disclosing documents and recorded decisions which over the last two decades paved the way for is described as a ‘global coup against liberal democracy’ under the pretext of a pandemic, enabling the US Government and others to eliminate constitutional limits to their powers and impose arbitrary decisions not subject to public oversight or parliamentary challenge. To quote two eloquent paras:

“Suddenly, trusted institutions seemed to be acting in concert to generate fear, promote obedience, discourage critical thinking, and herd seven billion people to march to a single tune, culminating in mass public health experiments with a novel, shoddily tested and improperly licensed technology so risky that manufacturers refused to produce it unless every government on Earth shielded them from liability.

“Across Western nations, shell-shocked citizens experienced all the well-worn tactics of rising totalitarianism—mass propaganda and censorship, the orchestrated promotion of terror, the manipulation of science, the suppression of debate, the vilification of dissent, and use of force to prevent protest. Conscientious objectors who resisted these unwanted, experimental, zero-liability medical interventions faced orchestrated gaslighting, marginalization, and scapegoating.“

As a background to these alarming developments Kennedy highlights a meeting between Fauci and Bill Gates in Seattle in the year 2000 as a landmark in the ongoing process of corporate privatization of health. Reportedly the chairman of Microsoft, according to his strategy of ‘philanthro-capitalism’, offered to Fauci a partnership aimed at inoculating the entire world’s population by the year 2020 with an array of vaccines owned by mega-companies in which Gates has built very large financial stakes (a precedent is the polio DTP vaccine sponsored by Gates, discarded in the West but disseminated in Africa with very problematic results). The American National Institute of Health owns the patents to many vaccines and so do Fauci (half of the Moderna vaccine’s among others) and several scientists working at the NIAID, whereas Gates has taken effective control of the WHO through the major contributions made by his Foundation and the various quasi-official partnerships he has set up (CEPI, GAVI et al.).

Economic data show that the policies pursued by the Microsoft Tycoon and some of his peers are motivated by monopolistic designs, as Dr Vandana Shiva has convincingly demonstrated.  3.8 trillion Dollars have flown into the coffers of those few hundred billionaires since the beginning of the COVID crisis while the middle class in the USA and in most other countries has been hit hard by the mandatory business closures and lockdowns imposed without legal recourse. Robert Kennedy points out that capital amendments of the US Constitution have been eviscerated since 2020 with the exception of the second one (guaranteeing the right to own and carry guns, protected by the weapons manufacturers’ Lobby).

Another revealing insight provided by the book is that the health and pharmaceutical sector in the US is very close to the military industrial complex through cooperative research projects and crisscrossing investments. There are no effective regulatory constraints or safety regulations on bio-defence R&D and vaccine manufacturers are free from liabilities.

In the last chapter ‘Germ Games’ the author explains in his own words to his countrymen ‘how the government turned against you’ and highlights the disquieting de facto collaboration between the military gen-tech and bio-warfare industries of the United States and China which share common interests over and above the apparent opposition between the two states.

RFK is not alone in expressing those convictions, shared by several eminent epidemiologists, virologists and physicians who have warned of the danger of political sanitary overreach. True science, as a dynamic process of inquiry open to review, disproof and improvements is often on the side of intrepid dissidents and not behind the diktats, threats and sanctions enforced by many governments to make experimental, regulatorily unapproved gene therapies compulsory for their populations.
